From what I have read, when the female is ready to spawn it becomes a lot more colourful. She then startt to shmmy back and forth in front of the male - a sort of 'come and get me' dance - trollop! Very Happy

Apparently they like loads of cover to spawn in, caves, plants etc and the male shakes himself at anything that comes near his fry.

Are your displaying any of this behaviour?

no i was just woundering if they are pairs or they will pair up on their own accord

she is getting brighter colours tho and putting her top fin up if she goes near him and he is doing the same even if he goes to her but not fighting its like flirting lol

just went looking for them and they are in a cave together never doen this befor wounder if they are sporning !!!!!!!

I think they may be - isn't that great. Apparently they ake good parents too, so it should be great to see.

Sorry, couldn't resist being a smartass!.. It can be a bit confiusing to keep track of all the various sub forums, but it's in the Fresh Water section and it's the next to last section.
