| i guess you did by saying re-hydrating I'd try some in a cup of aquarium water then pour them thru a fine net and feed like that. To be honest, i've not tried feeeding those, only frozen | |

| Its not a problem to feed as they are, just a pinch at a time is fine, you will find they float, so if you want the corys ot other bottom dwellers to have a go, then by all means, soak some in a cup of tank water for a couple of hour n feed as if live. Upside down cats love blood wrom, but wont get a look in during the day, so feed these fish once a week with a pinch at night. As for the crud in the container, I find shaking the bottle/tub before use, helps shift it to the bottom of the tub and less ends up in the tank. African butterfly fish love these too, but are a bit slower than the usual tank mates so you may want or need to and feed them with bloodworm, or occupy the other fish with freebies forst, then focus feed the butterfly fish | |

| no... african butterfly fish all confusing I know, but hese are surface dwellers, resemble floating plants as they bob about on the surface waiting for a small fish or insect to be daft anough to venture into striking range. this is why (as per your plec post) peole need to be very careful about the identities of various fish. | |
