Cheeky sod! I aint sure on the pumps dimensions so not sure if It would stick out a little.

Ill have to look into it a bit more. Or ill just add more substrate

Hydor's are great I think. I have one in the tropical tank, just hidden behind some of the bogwood so it cant be seen. I am going to get one for the goldies tank too I think as I have put some live plants in there which surprisingly the goldies are leaving alone!
