| Nope, actually the scarlet seems to be a LOT happier in her new home! Shes swimming about (only hid in the other tank) and last night she was actually sucking on a mussel, the FIRST time ive seen her eat since i got her about 3 months ago! Theyre all fine still, the P's arent battering an eyelid, everything fine. But i THINK im gunna try with 2 adult oscars in there, if theres any trouble, i can take them back! | |

If their that intelligent they'll play dead when they see phishy walk through the door!! They probably have a rota for a fishy lookout - you know like the meerkats do - just to make sure she cant sneak in unnoticed! | |

| I would imagine they wil be ok anyways unless they become ill or injured. Thats normally when a pirahna will go for other fish when they are ill or injured or dead. However, something being bigger doesnt necessarily mean it wont get eaten, cos a group of them can strip a cow in seconds and Im darned sure that bigger than a pirahna lol. Good luck to the plecs!!!! Im tempted to buy a pirahna for one of my spare tanks. |

| Do you have a local fish market or somewhere you could buy in bulk and freeze? Could be worth getting a cheap/free spare freezer (ebay/freecycle) | |

| the frozen prawns are only 89p a bag from asda and the mussels are 99p fresh for 200g from tesco, so not too bad i dont think. They do last them a while. | |
